This first card was created using the new ODBD Sweet As Perfume stamp set and the new ODBD Layered Lacey Ovals Die set. And I must say this die is gorgeous!!! There are five different layers and each one is so detailed and pretty.
I also used ODBD Double Stitched Rectangles, the largest frame from the ODBD Majestic Medallion Die Set, and the ODBD Foliage and Leaves Die. The lavender papers are from the ODBD Pastel Paper Pack.
I inked up the flower stamp with several colors of Memento inks (Cantaloupe for the flowers, Pear Tart for the leaves and Rhubarb for the flower center) and then stamped on white card stock. I heat embossed with Extra Fine Embossing Powder in Clear.
These flowers are called Frangipani and are so pretty, I liked the Tropical Pink one the best so chose it as my model for coloring. It is mostly white with hints of color. I experimented with ink colors (about 7 different color combinations....) to try to find the ones I thought would show off the flower's colors. I then used Spectrum Noir to color up the flowers.
I created this second card using the new ODBD You Bless Me Stamp Set and the new ODBD Vintage Borders Die Set. The layer with the Gladiolus on it was die cut using the ODBD Vintage Flourish Pattern Die (it coordinates perfectly!) The sentiment was cut using the ODBD Lavish Layers Die Set. The papers are from the ODBD Christmas 2015 Collection.
I inked up the stamp with two colors and stamped at the same time using Memento (Rhubarb and Bamboo) and then heat embossed with Extra Fine Embossing Powder. I colored the image using Spectrum Noir.
Thank you for stopping by!
:)
Melissa
