OWH Mid-Week Throw down- Cards for Kids & Saturated Canary

This little card is for Operation Write Home's Mid-Week Throw down challenge of "Cards for Kids."                   Here is a link to the challenge information:

I decided to use this Saturated Canary image called "Party Hardy".   I colored her with Spectrum Noir in corals and blue turquoise.  I made my own little flags to match the stamped flags and used a cotton thread to hang them.  After seeing Spectrum Noir used to color white thread whatever color you need, I decided to try it.  I wrapped a pencil with the white thread and then created stripes of color on it.

I added a couple punched stars and hearts (the itty bitty punches from Michaels that are $1), added a sparkly red gem as the cherry, and some Glossy Accents on her eyes to make them shine.  The sentiment is a wood mount from Memory Box.

I am hoping a little girl would love this card.

Thank you for stopping by!
