Stampers Best "Ciara"

Stampers Best has the best deep-edge rubber stamps! If you have ever had issues with the extra ink coming off on your paper from the negative parts of the stamp, then these stamps are for you.  I think they are firmer (is that a word???) than many of the clear acrylic rubber stamps and I make fewer mistakes when stamping using these.

This "Ciara" stamp is one of the Operation Write Home fundraiser stamps  created by Stampers Best.

Thank you so much Stampers Best for your continued support of Operation Write Home, you are awesome!

You can find this stamp here:

I stamped Ciara on white card stock for the body and colored her with Spectrum Noir's GB1 & GB2.   I also stamped her again on red gingham.  After some detail cutting of the red gingham, I paper-pieced the hat and scarf onto the body image. I left the camouflage pattern on the hat and scarf when I stamped, however you can take a Q Tip and a little alcohol to the rubber stamp (after inking and before stamping)  if you would rather not have the pattern on your image.

I used a Hero Art's stamp set for the sentiment (one of the Operation Write Home fundraiser sets...thank you Hero Arts!), and a Tonic Studio Star Border punch.

I added a little red ribbon and twine,  and then used a white pen to add faux stitching.  I distressed some edges with Navy ink and added Glossy Accents to Ciara's eyes.

Thank you for stopping by!
