Each month Our Daily Bread Designs offers a challenge for Operation Write Home. If enough crafters participate, ODBD will pay the shipping for two boxes of greeting cards to be sent to our deployed heroes.
This month's challenge was to use a scallop design on a card so I used my Cricut "Elegant Edges" cartridge to cut this red scallop. I paper-pieced the gift by stamping it on red card stock and then again on yellow Bazzil. After doing a little detail cutting I put them together on white card stock layered on more yellow Bazzill. The whole thing is mounted on a Karen Foster birthday paper with a base layer of red card stock. The sentiment is from one of Hero Arts "Operation Write Home" stamp sets.

what a nice birthday card. The red mats against the yellow pattern paper really may this card pop. Thank you for joining the OWH challenge.
