Hello everyone!
Our Daily Bread Designs sponsors a challenge each month for Operation Write Home. If 50 card makers play along, Our Daily Bread Designs will pay to ship two boxes of cards to our deployed heroes. This month's challenge is to focus on the sentiment. You can find details about the challenge here:
For this challenge I decided to try to do something with this paper that has been in my stash for too long. It is from Recollections and is really bright, which has been a challenge for me to use for some reason. I created this sentiment using Hero Arts "Fanciful Swirl" Alphabets and decided it went with this wild paper. I layered everything on black card stock and added a little green ribbon. I used dimensional adhesive under the middle layer to add a little pop, and I cut some scraps to make little corner triangles.
Thank you for stopping by!
:)
Such a cute card. I have that paper too, way too much of it and not enough ideas to use it. Great inspiration!
ReplyDeleteThank you Cheryl! So you probably have the really bright rainbow zebra stripe as well if you purchased the paper pack. I am thinking of using this layout with the rest of the paper from that pack so I can finally use it up. Happy crafting with your bright paper. :)
DeleteNot sure why I ever got it, but I have some of that paper too! Great way to use some of the stash. :)
ReplyDeleteThank you Joan!
DeleteI asked myself that same question and just kind of chuckle when I look at it now. I think we all bought it because it was on sale and it was nice and bright...then we realized it was hard to work with. :)
Probably true- thanks for at least giving me some hope of using it! My other thought with "that kind" of paper is to let my grandkids play with it - they love to use punches and stamps.
