Each month Our Daily Bread Designs offers a challenge to Operation Write Home card makers. If 50 card makers participate ODBD will cover the cost of shipping two boxes of OWH greeting cards. This month's challenge is to use "stitching" on a card. You can find details about the challenge here:
I love stitching on cards, especially when I am creating patchwork quilt cards. For this card I reached into my scraps for all yellows and reds. The papers are a mix of Bazzill, Claudine Hellmoth's Home Sweet Home, and Recollections. The sentiment is one of the $1 rubber stamps from Michael's (made by Craft Smart), and the buttons were made with a EK Sucess button punch.
For the stitching I used a red variegated DMC thread.
Thank you for stopping by!

DeleteI love this - it's labor intensive, but for this result, well worth the time and effort! These colors are great. I don't seem to have many yellows and oranges for some reason...must be time to go shopping!
