I had colored this image from Saturated Canary (Princess Reading Beauty) and needed a background for her. PaperTrey Ink posted their Make-It Monday Challenge #120 and I thought using the ombre technique would be an interesting background for her. I used PaperTrey Ink's Honey Bees set which includes several bees, sentiments, and these blades of grass (there are so many things in this set.) I used three green inks (2 from Color Box & the dark green called Kiwi Slice from Fun Stampers Journey) and the blades of grass. I tried to give her book a title using a sentiment from the Honey Bees set. I am thinking next time I want more grass behind her...

After completing the stamping I decided to add a little bling using Stickles' Frosted Lace and I followed the blades of grass with lots of little sparkles.
I added some Stickles to her little shoe because it reminded me of the sparkly shoes little girls wear.
I colored this little image with Spectrum Noir. Thank you for stopping by! :)
Oh how adorable is this? Great job coloring, Melissa! Love her sparkly shoe too :)
