Happy Summer everyone!
Spectrum Noir's June 2013 Challenge is to make a card using a summer theme and coloring exclusively with Spectrum Noir. You can find their challenge information here:
This little image is from Saturated Canary and is called Camping. You can find her here:
Here are some of the Spectrum Noir colors I used:
Hair: GB1, GB3, TN3, TN5, TN6 (more TN6 than TN5, the TN5 was not dark enough for me.)
Shirt: CG4, CG3
Shorts: TB2, TB4, TB5
I layered this little girly on a bunch of colorful summer colored strips of paper from Claudine Hellmuth's Home Sweet Home collection.
And oh yes.....she has a sparkle in her eye courtesy of a little Glossy Accents. I was able to give this little girly's hair those highlights that are missing from my own.... :)
Now, I must admit I messed up on putting a sunny background color in the top right when the highlight in her hair was on the left...oopsies! I am going to pretend it was dusk and another camp fire at the camp site next door was casting a huge beam of light on her. And my camp fire, well, just like in real life (I am not the best camp fire builder), it needs some work. On another attempt I blended too much so this time I decided not to do any major blending.
Thank you for stopping by!
